Partner Migration

The Partner Migration program permits Australian citizens and permanent residents, as well as eligible New Zealand citizens to sponsor their fiancé, spouse, or independent partner to migrate to Australia.

Spouse/Partner:

In order to be eligible for a partner or spouse visa you must be able to prove a genuine relationship with your sponsor, to provide full health and police checks, and to show evidence that you are able to meet the sponsorships financial obligations. If your application for a partner or spouse visa is successful a temporary visa will be granted, which then leads to permanent residence.

Interdependent Partner:

As of the 1st of July 2009, homosexual couples who have a registered relationship in Australia or are living together apply for a partner visa.

Fianće:

In order to be eligible for a fiancé visa your fiancé must be living outside Australia at the time of the application. If your application for a fiancé visa is successful a temporary visa for nine months will be granted, during which you both are expected to get married.

Important:In all situations of partner migration you must be able to verify that your relationship is genuine and continuing to the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship.

If you consider that your situation may satisfy the above criteria you should contact Ankitha Migration Services for further details regarding your individual case.
